Electric Vehicles
EngineeringNRG is looking to build a state-of-the-art electric vehicle repair facility in 2027. Early EV programs are moving out of factory warranty. That creates a service market for battery modules, power electronics, onboard chargers, and thermal systems that most body shops are not equipped to handle — and that fleet operators cannot treat as one-off dealer visits.
The facility will focus on repair: isolate the failed module, restore the vehicle, and return it to service. The commercial target is a ride-share EV partner whose utilization depends on short, predictable downtime rather than full pack swaps.
